MAKING MONEY

Every player starts with nothing. This page is the route from nothing to a farm that earns while you are busy elsewhere. Work through it in order — each stage pays for the next.

Stage 1: get on your feet

You need a first few thousand before anything else is worth doing.

  • Jobs pay you for what you are already doing. Mining, farming, chopping, fishing, building and more. Join one with /jobs. You can hold several at once, so pick jobs that overlap with how you like to play.
  • Fishing is the other early earner. Rods, baits and a full catalogue of catches, and it pays steadily while you do something relaxing. Rare catches are worth real money.
  • Sell what you gather with /shop. The price the shop pays is the same everywhere on the server, so nothing is secretly worth more somewhere else.
  • Voting every day. It is free, it pays in money, keys and claim blocks, and at 50 server votes a Vote Train fires for everyone online.

Claim your land early with a golden shovel. Everything below is worth stealing, and an unclaimed base is the one mistake that undoes all of it.

Stage 2: virtual spawners

Once you can afford your first spawner, the game changes. Buy spawners from /shop.

Spawners here are virtual by default. Instead of mobs standing around your base eating the server's performance, the spawner accumulates its drops internally and you collect them from a menu.

  • Open the spawner and sell the drops straight from its menu. No sorting, no hoppers full of rotten flesh.
  • Stack up to 2,500 spawners into a single block.
  • Hoppers can pull from the spawner into your own storage if you would rather sort it yourself.
  • Break a stack and you cash out the stored drops and the XP in one action, rather than losing it.

This is where most players make their first real money, because it earns without asking you to stand there.

Stage 3: physical spawners and stacked killing

Virtual spawners are easy money. Physical mobs are more money for more setup, and this is where the big earners live.

Let a spawner run physically and the mobs merge into a single stacked mob instead of filling the chunk. A stack can reach 5,000 mobs. Kill the stack and you are paid for the whole stack at once, not one mob at a time.

That is the whole trick of a late-game farm: one swing, thousands of drops. What you need next is something to do the swinging and something to catch what falls.

Stage 4: automate it

  • Minions do the work. A Slayer minion kills for you, a Miner mines, a Farmer harvests. They run while you are online and drop everything into a linked chest. See Minions.
  • Collectors catch what hits the floor, hold far more than a chest, and can sell it for you automatically. See Collectors.
  • Chunk Anchors keep your farm loaded and running when you are not standing in it. See Chunk Anchors.
  • Bosses pay millions to the top five who fight them, every three hours at the arena. See Bosses.
  • Safari Nets let you pick up a mob and carry it somewhere useful. See Safari Nets.

Selling to other players

The server shop is a floor price, not the best price. Once you have volume, players will pay more than the shop will.

  • Open your own shop and set your own prices.
  • List on the auction house.
  • Set up a player warp so buyers can actually find you.
  • Trade face to face when the deal is large enough to want a witness.

One rule holds everywhere: a price is a price. What the shop pays for an item is what that item is worth across the whole server.
